TV Show The Bachelor – Is it a Good Way to Meet Your Soulmate ??

Okay me and the wifey have been intently watching ‘the Bachelor’ on TV the last 2 months. Jake is the single guy (or bachelor) who is looking for the women of his dreams and his potential wife with this Show.
It makes for very good entertainment with all the caddy cat fighting between the women contestants. And there is much drama especially as one of the female contestants strays a little bit and engages with a relationship with one of the producers of the show. Who incidentally gets fired and the girl is asked to leave the show. Its all good fun.
Seriously though, I have a real problem with the premise of the Bachelor. And especially the bachelor himself, Jake. Jake goes on about how serious he is in finding his wife among these women contestants.
Jake narrows his choice down to four women and proclaims over and over how in Love he is with them or that he is falling in love with ALL four of these women.
And on top of this the Show has excerpts where he goes to each one of the girls’ hometowns to meet their parents. Well, each time it shows Jake running up to each woman and hugging them and telling them how much he has missed them. And that he cares so much for them, kissing them with a deep tongue. And this is just right after he did this with two of the other women before.
This really makes me and my Wife feel like puking !! Its sickening.
Honestly, I ask you all out there is this a natural way to fall in love with that special someone ??
To go from one person to the next and tell them the exact same thing you told another person the day before……….how much you miss them, kissy, kissy, lovey doey etc..etc.. ??
Well, just a little bit of advice to you guys and gals out there…The Bachelor is good entertainment but that is about it. This type of format is not realistic nor natural in the Romance department. I would be careful in your journey to find Love and make a note to NOT look at it as a numbers game .
Look for one person and one person only to share your affection for. NOT a whole slew of people.
But thats Hollywood for you !!

Well, the biggest romantic celebration in the World is coming up in about 5 days. Valentines Day is a day to celebrate and be affectionate with the ones you Love. Of course this includes family and friends but probably more importantly this also means your romantic partner.
Take it from me this is one day that you do NOT want to try to skip with your Partner. Especially for you guys out there………. it is a must that you do something or get something special for your woman.
You can do the traditional things like a box of chocolate and flowers with a candle light dinner. There is nothing wrong with this but why dont you try to be a little more creative and do things that are a little unconventional.
One thing my wife has been begging me to do is take her on a hot air balloon ride. I am trying to work it into our schedule as she has wanted to do this for a long time.
But guys I can tell you now that taking your woman on a hot air balloon ride for Valentines Day will melt her Heart. She will be goo goo for you if you do this.
Another thing that will ALWAYS win a girl’s heart is getting 10 dozen red roses and spread them all over your her house. Start from the doorway and go all the way to her bedroom. This will always guarantee success when trying to woo your woman.
One last thing that you can do is pack up a nice Lunch and take your special someone out for a romantic picnic. Of course many of you are unable to do this because you are swamped with snow right now !! But those out here in California and Arizona can definitely do this.
Anyway, it doesnt have to be extravagant to have a great Valentines Day. Sometimes the simplest things can be the most rewarding ones.
