Okay, so you have found that hot guy or girl and you mustered up enough courage to ask them out on a Date. And low and behold they accepted your offer.

Well, here is a few things that you ALWAYS need to do on that first date.
First, for you guys ALWAYS show up on time when you pick up your Date. If this is someone you really really like then be on time and that will impress her.

Second, for you gals out there DO NOT over do it on the Makeup. I am talking about Tammy Faye Baker, PLEASE do not do this as it turns off us guys in a major way. Think more natural in this regards !!

Third, Guys do not be cheap. Take your first date to somewhere that is pretty nice and fairly upscale. It doesn’t have to break your bank but at least make sure it aint no Mcdonald either. And be sure to bring a girl flowers we you pick her up at the door. Flowers ALWAYS go a long way with women.

Fourth, to you women I know this may be controversial and many may disagree, but you should at least Offer to pay for Dinner. And NO I am not saying that you actually should. But by Offering it shows that you are NOT taking your Date for granted just because he is the Man. But make no mistake if he accepts your Offer then NEVER go out with him again. A Man should always pay for his Woman ! PERIOD !!

And above anything else you should just focus on having a good time with your Date. Dont get too serious with the conversation ,but there is nothing wrong with finding a little bit about them. Everything should flow pretty smoothly on the first Date. You should be intrigued and your Date should also.

If you are not then reconsider about going on a second Date !!

This is a question I have had with countless friends and family in the past. And it can be a topic of discussion that can see differing opinions across the Board. And that is how long do you date a person before you become serious with them ??
Or how long do you date someone before you start to call them boyfriend or girlfriend ??

Well, honestly there is no set time period you should give concerning this matter.
Though I really think it should be a number of months before you should consider this with anyone you are dating.

The reason why ?? I know people say they have met that special someone and knew in the first week that they are the ONE but I think you should be a little more patient. The reason being is you really will NEVER know how a person acts under different Life experiences and circumstances until you actually go through it with them. And obviously it takes time to go and experience different Life Occurrences. It can take months and in many instances a year or two before you find out how your Romantic interest will handle different events and pressures that come with Life. And whether or not this is compatible with your expectations.

Thats why I say at least give it 3 months, minimum, before you decide to go steady and get serious with someone. This is 3 months of consistent dating and being around this person and seeing how you mesh with that person in different settings and different events that happen in a person’s life.

Please dont ever feel like you have to rush into a relationship. Many people who are older sometimes fall into this type of behavior because they feel crunched by age and time running out on them. Well, in the end this can be self-destructing and cause
much anguish and regret.

So just dont do it, period !!!

You know I have been around the block a tie or two. Of course, as most of you know I am settled down now and happy with my better half.

But one thing I do see over and over again is the misconception that people have to really give expensive and extravagant gifts to woo that special someone.

Well, thru my own experience most of the time this cant be further from the Truth. I tell you what in the past I have gotten the most satisfied reactions from my Wife and then girlfriend when I made a basket of flowers and fruit for her. It practically cost next to nothing to do and it garnered a more positive reaction from her than any fancy dinner or jewelry in the past.

So to all you guys and gals out there learn to think about simple things that might provide joy to your partner. You can do this by asking questions like what kind of flowers do you like or what is that favorite food you cant get enough of .
And just start compiling a list over time of your partner’s likes and dislikes.

After a while you will have a whole slew of things you can pick from to make a little simple Gift or token for them when they least expect it. And that is another thing, dont underestimate the power of being surprised. Even if is something very simple the element of surprise will make them very satisfied.
And making your partner happy is what it is all about !!

Hey I have nothing against Dating services whether it be Online or Offline. But here is something that some of you might want to consider when trying to be successful at dating and finding your true love.

And that is sometimes it is best to look for a partner in areas that you have a strong interest in already. For instance, I am a huge Disc Golf Player and fan. For those of you who do not know what Disc Golf is well it is like regular golf except you play with a frisbee and try to get your frisbee in a basket instead of a hole. It is a growing sport and there are many die hard players out there.

Well, I have a good friend who has been playing disc golf for years. He is a true passionate player and plays 4 to 5 times a week. For many years , he spent looking for that special woman and never had any luck. So he pretty much gave up.
Now fast forward to about 2 years ago he was playing disc golf one day and met a fellow disc golf player on the course that particular day. Well, this player was a girl and low and behold they got to know each other a little bit. He eventually asked here out on a date and now they are happily married. And they still love to share their passion by playing disc golf with each other every week !!

I know of other people who have met while working out at the gym and also snow sking on a mountain. It does happen. And I think people ought to keep an open mind when it comes to dating and finding love.

Sometimes that special someone can be right under your nose and you do not even know it !!

So next time your out doing those laps at the pool keep your eye open because you never know but Ms. right or Mr. right could be swimming in the lane next to you !!
