Wow, me and the Wifey just got thru with watching the most recent episode for the Reality show, Dating in the Dark.

It is a pretty interesting show to say the least. I am not sure how anyone thought of this idea but it really is clever enough.

Basically, you have 3 guys and 3 girls who meet in this glorious Hollywood Mansion for a temporary period of time. They all have dates and you guessed it, they date in the dark where they can not see what the other looks like. Near the end, the show picks which couples are most compatible on a scale of 1 to 100. And the ones matched together get to go in the dark room where the lights are turned on and the looks of the partners are revealed.

I find it extraordinary interesting of how there is total chemistry between many of the couples in the Dark room. But when the lights are turned on later all of the sudden that Chemnistry is gone. This really goes to show that Looks do matter.

And one last thing to me that is astonishing is to see that is was predominately been the Females who judged their chosen Male by their looks. When the lights turned on many of the females were the ones who shook their heads in disgust.

This just further confirms my long held beleif that, ‘Yes you Women are as superficial if not more than any Man !!

But we love the Show and anyone who wants to be entertained should check it out every Monday night at 9 pm Eastern !!

You know there are some people I know that are still single and it seems to be there is a good reason why they are. They want everything to be perfect about meeting the right person at the right time and right place . They think that they have to meet someone who is exactly like them or who has specificand stringent characteristics that they are looking for. And anyone who does not possess these certain characteristics they write them off without even giving them a chance.

Just a litle bit of advice here. Sometimes you will find that special someone who just plain defies all logic pertaining to how you view what is right and satisfying to you. It happens all the time.

Some of the happiest couples who are either married or in a long term relationship are ones that you would never think would have worked out.

Personally, I know a couple who came from totally different socio-economic backgrounds and one had a good Education while the other didnt.
Well, from the outside looking in it looked like they would not have been a match for each other. But they were opened minded when they met each other and as they started dating they realized they had a tremendous amount in common. They both loved the Outdoors, sports, quiet nights on the porch, and travelling alot among other things.
These two fell in love and now are engaged to be married. Very happy and both fulfilled !

A second example is a happy couple that I know and they have been married for 6 years now. The man is 5 foot 3 and the woman is almost 6 feet. He is about 130 lbs while she is over 200 lbs. Once again looking from the outside you would think these two were NOT a match at all. Yes, physicality does matter. But not enough to stop the Love Bug from biting these two.

It happens everyday. People meeting other people who just do not seem to meet the standard criteria many are looking for !! But there are some many variables that cause one person to be attracted to another. Yes , looks are a big part. But it is safe to say there are other important reasons that attract people and make compatibility a winner between two people.

My suggestion for all you people looking to successfully Date and find that special person is to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX !!!

I hear this all the time from my single friends and its ” I cant find anyone to Date anywhere ” !! Well, trust me their are plenty of places to find that special someone.
Of course right now, single online dating is the ‘in thing’ to do for many. I think there is some potential for this as many swear by it. The thing is once you make contact with the person and decide you want to meet then it moves from dating online to dating in person. So yes I think in some cases the initial coming together between two people can be attributed to contacting each other on the Internet. But when it comes down to it the sparks will only fly or not fly when they actually date in person !!

Here is a another good one and that is meeting people at Church. Now I am not saying that everyone that goes to Church is perfect and is going to be Marriage material. But I think you can meet some quality people who are decent human beings at Church and who have similar personalities and likes and dislikes as you !!

Now this next one I am a little biased about because it is how I met my beautiful wife. And that meeting people at night clubs or Bars. I know some people say you cant meet good, quality people at Bars but I did. And she is the Love of my Life. So dont always pre-judge the hot trendy singles Bar because sometimes it might just have the diamond in the rough you are looking for !!

School and Community Clubs in your neighborhood can really be a Goldmine for meeting and dating singles who are like minded as you. Always keep your eyes open in these venues because the Prince or Princess just might be sitting their in front of you in the Town Square meeting.

Hope this gives you a few decent ideas of where to meet potential romantic partners !!

Okay,a liitle bit about myself : I spent the better part of 20 years of my adult Life trying to successfully date and meet that special person. I surely had my fun along the way and I have some diverse perspective of what it takes to have fun in Dating.I must I did kiss a lot of frogs along the way but 4 years ago this month I met my now beautiful Wife and am now happilty married.

In this Blog, I will provide some of my own personal insight on Dating and Love. And try to provide useful resources and information for my Readers and Visitors to have Success in Dating and Finding true Romance and maybe if lucky that all elusie things called Love too.

Just as important as finding that special someone and experiencing successful Dating is maintaining your Relationships. So I will s discuss better ways to keep a healthy and long lasting relationship with those who you are romantic with.

Btw, I am a Man but I will approach this Blog from a Woman’s viewpoint along with the Man’s viewpoint. I want to keep this Blog open to both Sexes because it takes both of them to make a Relationship work.
